This extraordinary pendant brings together two ancient materials: a genuine Madagascan ammonite fossil — a creature that swam prehistoric seas over 65 million years ago — set into a hand-carved backing of 5,000-year-old British bog oak. The result is a piece that spans geological time, worn close to the skin.

The ammonite's iconic logarithmic spiral is perfectly preserved, its chambers glowing in warm tones of amber, ochre, and deep russet. The near-black bog oak provides a dramatic, richly grained frame, while a hand-finished copper wire wrap and bead bail complete the piece with artisan detail.
