Lapis Lazuli & Spiral Pendant Necklace — One of a Kind

A handmade statement necklace, entirely one of a kind, crafted at RavenStein Studio from ancient stone with an alloy metal centre piece.

At its centre, a large oval pendant of metal alloy, its surface etched with a flowing spiral motif — a symbol that has appeared in human art for over 5,000 years, from Neolithic carvings to Celtic metalwork. The spiral here is unhurried, organic, alive. It is the kind of mark that only a hand can make.

The strand combines raw lapis lazuli slabs — deep midnight blue, veined with gold pyrite — with smooth obsidian beads, black and glassy, absorbing light rather than reflecting it. The contrast between the raw lapis and the polished obsidian gives the necklace a rhythm and weight that draws the eye inevitably downward to the pendant.
